Top Base Salary: $67,790.34 after 18 months

Qualifications:
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old
- Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen
- Education: Must have high school diploma or GED from an accredited school
- License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Testing: Must have completed the Empco Corrections reading and writing examination with a minimum score of 70% and the MSCTC LCOPAT physical ability test
- Civil Service Eligibility: Must be deemed eligible for hire by the Macomb County Civil Service Commission, including passing physical, drug screening, and psychological evaluations
- Application: Must submit a formal application through the Macomb County Civil Service Commission
