The Law Enforcement Hiring Consortium is a group of law enforcement agencies in the Metro-Detroit area that cooperate in the application and testing process for entry level patrol officers. This cooperative effort works through Empco, Inc. to find qualified applicants for their departments.

Empco conducts testing for the consortium in the spring and fall.
